Boy's Better Burgers = Fast Food with Great Flavor: We saw about 3 fast food stops when we went thru Parma Id on our trip. We were looking for something quick and not greasy. We stopped at a place called BLT's, its like a convenient store, gas station and a small eating area. We checked it out, they had a hot case that had burritos that looked orange from grease, old dried out Jo Jo's and some leathery looking chicken. So, we thought, lets order fresh off the menu. The 2 workers were in the back talking on the phone, well one was and the other was listening in on the conversation. After asking 2 times if we could place an order, we got a stern look and a hand wave to please hush up, they were busy doing something more important. I wanted to leave immediately, but then the, can you believe this, the manager, who was the listener, came over and just stared at us, then finally said, "Well do you want something?" She was also smoking and didnt take the cigarette out of her mouth, i shook my head and walked out. So we drove up the road and saw another place, a drive thru. It had no cars at it, and it kinda looked dumpy, and then we saw Boy's Better Burgers. Wow, what a cool place, they were so nice there, took our orders quickly, made recommendations on shake flavors, made fresh when it was ordered, and noone was smoking, in fact, it wasn't allowed inside, as it should always be. The portions were huge, ungreasy and the burgers, sandwiches and salads, had fresh toppings. They were hand cut fresh, you could tell it didnt come pre chopped from a bag. They also had excellent fish and chips and big jumbo shrimp, they made there own tartar and cocktail sauce too, very flavorful! There was alot of locals there, visiting, laughing, joking as if that was like a kitchen away from home. And they were pleasant to us and our children too. Some locals are usually quiet in a small town, but the people there were super friendly. And the place was very clean. I cant wait to go thru there again.
