I went to lunch there today with 11 fellow co-workers and guests arriving at 12:15. The place was about empty, so we were immediately seated. This was the best part of the entire experience as it went downhill from here.

The waitress asked if these were going to be separate checks or together. Being the boss, I immediately and clearly said to her, "Put them all together and give me the bill." I then asked if they still did the sliced beef steak on top of a salad (it used to be a menu item that was very good). She missed the hint because I was simply told "no." The waitress didn't even volunteer to see if it would be possible. I could have insisted that she ask the cook, but that shouldn't be my job. She missed an important clue, I am the bill payer in control of her gratuity and I had a special request that really wasn't so special. After all, I see sirloin steaks and salads on the menu. She missed a huge opportunity to make a customer happy.

Then, it took 25 minutes to get our drinks. It was 40 minutes after this that we got our meals. After the meal, we waited and we waited. I eventually had to go find our waitress just to get the check, to the tune of $232.25. I do not consider insignificant for a lunch experience and I would expect better service and attention. It took them an hour and a half to feed 12 people and entre with no deserts, in an empty restaurant!

I will not go back and I cannot recommend this place. No wonder it was so empty! However, this was an excellent teaching opportunity to my staff about how to go about destroying a customer relationship and what utter mediocrity looks like.

Murphy's used to be a lot better than this. I hope my talented employees never lose sight of what is always important in a customer's experience with our staff.

Not worth the price! The food is pretty tasty, but the portions are very small. I ordered the scallops which are very good. They were served with some overly salted spinach which I was unable to eat. My husband's steak was not that great. We both left still feeling hungry. We are not large people nor do we eat abnormally large amounts of food. I think these portions are just way too small, especially for the price you pay. I would much rather go to Mcgrath's and spend the same amount or less and not feel like I need to eat again in a half hour. Service was okay not great.

here is a copy of the note we sent to the manager-Mr. Hooper,

My husband and I dined at your restaurant last night after an
important event and were hoping for a wonderful meal as we've
remembered it to be in the past. We were very disappointed in the
food. The appetizers and dinners were sub par. My order of Seafood
Linguine Alfredo did not have half the seafood that it says on the
menu, the two shrimp were rubbery and the other bits of fish tasted
and smelled fishy. The stuffed mushrooms were tasteless and there
seemed to be something missing on the oyster rockefeller's. They
were a slimy, drippy appetizer and not like any we had ever had
before. The entire middle of my husbands Prime Rib was raw and the
outer was cooked to med rare as ordered. He refuses to send food back
so we left it with my meal on the table.
Thankfully our server Kevin took off my dinner and the stuffed
mushrooms. He even offered to buy us desert but by that time we just
    wanted to leave.

Not to leave out the drunk sleeping in the next table who only
woke up to eat some food and grope his date. The staff all were aware
of this but happily let it continue.

We paid our tab with a minimum tip but really wonder what
happened to this fine restaurant... This was the absolute worst meal
we have had in quite some time. My Husband was so embarrassed he
offered to take me to a fast food stop if I was still hungry.
