Company Information: Serving a generous helping of Idaho hospitality and steak-and-potatoes cuisine, this wood-paneled mainstay opened its doors in 1959. While trendy eateries have moved into Boise, this restaurant has kept to its roots. Diners will find Western art and artifacts decorating the restaurant's dark walls, and a menu that looks the same as did it 40 years ago. All cuts of steak are offered from tenderloin tips to prime rib, and the prawns come big, breaded and fried.
Hours of Operation: Closed Sundays

Prime Rib too much fat: Heard through the grapevine that the Coach was the place for good food. The prime rib we had, had more fat than meat. Presentation of food was not all that great. Meat, baked potato and a very hard hard roll. Read someone else's review about waitress. Must have had the same one. Won't go back. Not worth the $$$$.
Love It: We can't wait to eat here, the service is always exceptional, the prime is excellent, steaks awsome, the prawns are outstanding. They bend over backwards to make sure your dining experience is exceptional. Overall value is just the best in town. A good lunch menu as well as the terrific dinner menu. The lounge pours a great drink at a reasonable price it doesn't get any better.
The best steaks (and drinks) in town.: We have enjoyed the 'Coach' for the past 9 years and can't go to the Boise area without at least stopping in for a toddy. The staff is wonderful and always treat us like famiy. The steaks are fantastic and the quality is consistant. 'It don't get no better than this'.
