User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy wife and I love Lorena's food. I have always found the food to be hot when it arrives at the table, with the exception of tamales. They have been warmed, but seem to be served on a cold plate - which I think cools them down before you can finish them. I order one with a smoothered burrito now and put them on the same plate, so they are delicious!
I have always had courteous waiters and waitresses.
Great value for great food, we eat there often.-

I love this place! We have been going there ever since I was a little kid. The food is die for. The only draw back I have, is that it's so good I crave it a lot! The staff is always nice and are very fast at getting your order to you. Also they have it so you can in and pick it up, they always say 15 minutes. Love the food, love the people. Thank you Lorena's!

Lorena's is my personal favorite Mexican restaurant. I live in Bountiful and eat there as often as I can. The food is excellent with large portions. They give you delicious salsa and chips while you wait, which might be too spicy for some but it's about my favorite thing about eating there. Overall I think you'd be hard-pressed to do better.
My favorite dish is the smothered burrito with cheese and onions. It's usually too hot to eat when it arrives, so I have to wait for it to cool.
The menu is similar to La Frontera and La Puente, if you're familiar with those other restaurants along the Wasatch Front. If you've eaten at them you'll know what to expect to find on the menu at Lorena's. Personally I think Lorena's does it best, and the service I receive there is what keeps me coming back to Lorena's instead of to one of the others.
