User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAfter reading the glowing reviews of this restaurant, we expected a great experience. We were disappointed. Food was expensive for what we got (a mexican restaurant that charges 3.99 for chips and salsa?) We asked for beans with our meal, expecting refried beans, got whole black beans (afterwards, was told they don't serve refried beans). The tortillas were rubbery. Service was slow. Basically, this was one of those fancy restaurants that doesn't serve real food (for normal folks) - just ambiance. Wheeeeee!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe food is amazing!! ZâTejas is one of my favorite restaurants and I am amazed every time I dine there. Their food is so fresh and flavorful and the prices are great too. Their menu is so different from the usual Southwestern cuisines but the food is not too different to enjoy. The menu has variety so everyone has options. The last time I was there we started off with the shrimp and guacamole tostada bites and then for dinner I had the Chile relleno and they both were soooo good! I have never has a bad experience there and I always leave satisfied.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe food is Wonderful: This place is clean, fast and friendly service. The food is fabulous, even the kids menu was perfect. It was even nice to have linen napkins compared to a pile of paper ones. They didn't rush you to leave so they could get the next set of people to sit down. They told us to take our time and enjoy, if there was any thing else, just ask. The cost was excellent priced, the food and service was so good, I would have paid more if price was higher.
I can't wait till I go back. There was no waiting, ample room.
This may sound strange, but by seeing how clean they keep their eating areas and bathrooms(SPOTLESS)areas. That you know the cooking areas are clean and taken care of.
I took business cards they have and gave them to my friends, I bragged how great it was. That they just had to go. I really LOVE this place
