The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food is bland Mexican. For some that may be exactly what they are looking for: no heat. But for us it was not what we eat Mexican food for. We also felt the prices were a bit high for comparable dishes at other, better Mexican restaurants in Salt Lake. Also, they do not serve any alcohol, so if your hankering for a burrito and a beer, you won't get the combo here.

Overall we gave it a "Average" rating. Nothing really bad about it, just nothing that really stands out above the rest.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!: I have never eaten at Geckos but I already love them! First of all I have only heard wonderful things about their food but this year when we were doing a tree for the festival of trees they were the first to donate gift certificates to be sold along with our tree. All of the proceeds from the festival of trees goes to Primary Children's Hospital (where our son was treated). Our family feels strongly about this charity and love that Geckos has backed not only our family but our community as well.
