I visit Salt Lake once or twice a year, always eat at Market Street Grill. The food has always been good, and prices are fair (seafood of any type isn't cheap). The one time I had a service complaint, management immediately acted on it.
More than just clam chowder: Wonderful calamari, filet mignon, and last but not least, clam chowder. Service can vary depending on location, but overall is good. Definitely recommend!
The King Crab Legs are to die for: A bit pricy so we save this one for special occasions only, but oh it is so worth it. My favorite is the fillet mignon and king crab legs. It is the most expensive plate there, but it is so good, and you could actually share it with someone and still get full. They have great appetizers, so good to go during Happy Hour. Quite honestly this restraunt spoiled me for Crab, nowhere else can compare. They also have wonderful shrimp coctail...mmmmm
