| About: | Both booth and counter seating as well as a TV set, make for a homey feel at Rusted Sun Pizzeria. There is plenty of pizza on the menu, of course, along with calzones, pastas, sandwiches and crisp salads. Be sure to order one of the specialty house pizzas, or even create your own with toppings from A to Z. Each pizza is made to order on a New York-style crust and is smothered in whole-milk mozzarella. There is also a handful of different pizza sauces to choose from. Domestic and imported beers are on draft. |

Ah - Rusted Sun Pizza. They make me drool just thinking about them. I think any person who can write a negative review of this place needs some sort of therapy. Go there - it's crowded - but the place is small. Once you've eaten the pizza you will understand why there are so many people. The secret is in the "red sauce". Try it you'll see.
GOOD PIZZA - Worth the effort to eat there.
I would definitely NOT recommend this place. Average food and terrible service. I had never been there before, so my boyfriend and I sat at the bar to try to get the waitress' attention. When we finally did, I asked to be seated at a table that was open. Just as I did that, a party of three walked in and she promptly seated them instead. I realize their space is limited, but every other restaurant I've ever been to is first come, first serve. NOT HERE. I asked, again, if we could get a table when one opened up. She said yes, then went ahead and seated others who walked in AFTER us. I had to sit right by the cash register in an uncomfortable chair and almost no room to eat. I have never been denied seating before, and never will allow them to treat me that way again, as I will NEVER go back!!
Rusted Sun Pizzeria is by far my favorite place to eat along the Wasatch Front. I recommend getting an appetizer of their spicy boneless chicken, followed by a calzone. Their calzones are magnificent.
