Family owned by two brothers -- Jim & Mike -- who pride themselves on offering hearty, nutritious and flavorful American cuisine in a hospitable and family friendly atmosphere.     Best for breakfast in Town. Dinners Lunch not as good but have large menu and are very generous amount of food.

    No Longer a good value: Jims has a number of locations and has always had the reputation for good food for a low price. Recently Jims has had a major price increase, and for what you get, and the lower quality of the food, Jims is no longer a good value, drinks went way up, pie (a small slice too) went way up, lunch specials for $4.95 are gone and are now almost $7.00 The prices they have posted on the internet are way old. These are prices from years ago. I think Jims has sliced their throat with their small food amounts and high prices, there is a much better deal at the Amber Restaurant, or a number of other restaurants around town. The last salad I had at Jims was totally wilted, and included ONE cherry tomatoe that was rotten inside. I have eaten at Jims many many many times and these guys just don't care anymore. There are much better values around town.
