User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI go to Granger and the teachers and staff do care. On my first day Mr. Murdock went out of his way to fix my schedule, make sure I knew. If you are focusing on college taking the advanced classes is a great idea, especially at Granger; the advanced teachers do care and they will take any extra time that they need to to ensure that you do pass the class and do your best in school. Granger High School has a special counselor just to help you figure out what college you want to get in to, to help you earn scholarships for college. If you really care about college you will be well on your way to success in you education at Granger High School. I hope you find this information useful

I WENT TO THIS SCHOOL FOR ABOUT A MONTHS AND THEN I JUS STOP GOING BECAUSE THE TEACHERS DONT CARE THE STAFF IS REALLY RUDE AND THE STUDENT REALLY TELL THE TEACHERS WHAT TO DO. USALLY YOU HAVE THE STAFF TO HELP WITH PROBLEM BUT REALL THEY DON'T. THE TRUTH I COME FROM CALIFORNIA AND THE SCHOOLS OUT THERE HAVE BETTER STRUCTURE AND DISUPLINE THEN GRANGER. AND FOR LIZMUNIZ NO ITS NOT THE STUDENT ITS THE STAFF LET ME TELL YOU, THEY REALLY DO PICK UP THERE STUFF IVE SEEN IT BUT THE STAFF LIKE I SAID REALLY DOES NOT CARE AND IT REALLY SUCKS!!! TO ME ESPECIALLY BECAUSE I HAD BIG PLANS TO CAME TO WEST VALLEY UTAH AND FINISH MY LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL.YES I AM A SENIOR I REALLY WANTED TO GRADUATE STILL DO BUT ITS HARD FOR A 17 YEAR OLD TO GO TO A SCHOOL WHERE THE TEACHERS WELL STAFF DONT CARE. THEY DONT CARE DONT HELP US. FOR ME ITS HARD I WANT TO GO BACK BUT IM SCARED BECAUSE I KNW I AM GOING TO GO BACK AND HAVE NO HELP TO ACHIEVE MY GOALS TO FINISH HIGH SCHOOL AND GO TO COLLAGE. I HAVE LET MY FAMILY DOWN. I BLAME MYSELF BUT ALSO THE STAFF AT GRANGER HIGH SCHOOL.

I'm so disappointed in the way the High School it's self and surrounding grounds have not been taken care of in the past few years. It became very apparent during my last visit to the school for the Primary Election voting that the students and staff do not have any pride in the appearance of the buildings. My husband and I approached the building from the north end near the cafeteria. What a mess. There was trash from the parking lot to the entry under the stairs. Have these children no pride? Where they raised in barns? Do they not know what trash cans are for? Apparently not! The trash can was empty. This tells me that either the kids just failed to hit the can or the maintenance staff changed trash bags and just didn't bother picking up the litter. How disturbing that someone would visit the school campus and have to walk through this. How distressing it is to think that visitors from other school facilities see this on their visits as well. I don't remember these conditions when my children attended Granger High. Have those attending and teaching at Granger High lost their school pride???

The students only act how they are expected to. I'm currently going to Granger High School. You can't judge a school on their garbage. I will admit most students at that school are careless, but the advanced program runs well. I will be taking 1 AP class, 2 or 3 honors classes. School at Granger is how you make it. If you chose to be in the lower classes, true, you will have a lot of careless kids, but the teachers do care and you will learn something if you chose to pay attention and listen. If you so chose to be in a more advanced class, you will get a group of talented, intelligent kids and will be taught more advanced material. Granger High School has been stereotyped for so long, the kids just go along with what everyone says. If you chose to stay out of trouble, no harm will come your way. If you chose to be friends with the good kids, you dont need to worry about anything. Just saying. Anyways, I hope you reply. :)

The staff is only rude when they have to be to those who cause trouble, start fights, have no respect, etc. If you were so focused on college then I'm sure you've taken the advanced classes and have seen that the teacher DO care and they will take any extra time that they need to to ensure that you do pass the class and do your best in school. Granger High School has a special counselor just to help you figure out what college you want to get in to, to help you earn scholarships for college.
