Firehouse Pizzeria

Firehouse is mediocre at best. We visit it quite frequently because my mother-in-law always wants to go, but I am never satisfied. The pizza is seriously just okay and nothing to get excited about. If you want pizza, head to Pier 49 just a few blocks south of Firehouse. Much better pizza.

Way overrated! I don't get why people are in love with this place. Everything I've ever had there has only ever been alright at best. And, on one occasion (I've been a few times because my family and friends love this place) it was absolutely inedible (the pizza crust was all soggy and tasted funky like it had been soaked in some chemical, honestly) - even the people I was with who LOVE the place could not eat it. Twice we have had a waiter who could not seem to get the order right. Like I said, I've been a few times because of family and friends. And it's not that it's absolutely horrible. I've just had numerous bad experiences and, like I said, it's never fantastic food...just alright.

I love Firehouse! I was very impressed with the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Calzone, it is awesome! I love the Roasted Chicken Pasta...it is so fresh and tasty! The atmosphere is fun and inviting!
