    Nothing special: We ate there a few months ago and there is nothing special about it. For the price, the portions weren't all that great. The food was average. The atmosphere is unique but not outstanding. Not a bad place to go but there is nothing special about it.

    Family Owned, Family Friendly, Beautiful Facility!: Been back a few times now and never had a bad experience. Their web site says that the Cottam family, a local clan, owns Melinas. The restaurant is very unique with its decor and seating areas. ALL the traditional fare you could ask for is available . . Carnitas, Chili Verde, Menudo, Flan, Carne Asada and those wonderfull fresh made daily tortillas. Had my birthday party for 50 in the banquet room and it was great! The patio is so nice in the warm months. Spanish is spoken my many of the staff. The place is CLEAN! This is a Mexican Restaurant done right!
