We more than likely won't return: We had frequented this place in the past and had loved it. We were in town and decided to return to eat at the Family Tree. The service was poor and it wasn't even a busy night. There was maybe 8 tables filled. My daughter had to get up and go to the front to have them refill her drink. The food wasn't that warm and the salmon had no flavor. Our best memory was of the large scones that they have. They still have them, but it tasted like they cooked them in the same oil as everything else. Needless to say, we didn't leave there very happy. Maybe Thursday night is the regular cook's day off.

great food, great eats: After many years of knowing the owners, and experiencing the food, I give this place and A+. I have not had a time when eating there that the food has not been excellent and the service the same. They take the time to make everything from scratch and the scones are an extra delight. I would recomend this resteraunt to anyone. the food and atmosphere is the best.

Best home-style cooking in the county!: Family friendly fun! Upon entering the rustic log-cabin style restaurant, you notice that the walls are filled with famous black and white photos of the town, residents, history, etc. It's a beautiful setting, complete with hardwood floors and sturdy slad-wood tables. And the food is all American, down-home country-style. A true family-friendly restaurant that is actually enjoyable and excellent.
