The food was good, the prices were decent and the portions were huge! I had the pasta and the hubby had chicken. Not a bad deal and with it being just across the street from our hotel it was convenient.
The only bad thing was that they don't accept debit or credit - only cash or checks. Who does that anymore? And in a touristy area! Whatever. There is an ATM across the street but of course there is a $1.50 fee to use it. Lame. No one carries cash on vacation.
On a four-day vacation to beautiful Zion National Park, I was hoping to find a good place to eat while there. The first night was ho-hum, but I found paradise the second night and then again on the fourth night! Zion Pizza & Noodle Company is amazing. The first visit I had one of their pizzas, the Cholesterol Hiker...a meat lovers dream! The sauce was perfect, the toppings top-notch, but the crust was heaven. Light, flavorful and clearly freshly made! Saved the rest for lunch the following day as I trekked about 175 miles to the Great Basin National Park (worth the trip!). Amazingly, I was talking to one of their rangers and I mentioned that I was staying outside Zion. He immediately asked me if I had eaten at Zion Pizza & Noodle. He raved about the pizza as much as I did! Quite a review for so far away! The final night of my stay I went back and tried their Pasta #6 (linguine in a pesto sauce with mushrooms and two cheeses). My mouth waters at the memory! This is not your traditional restaurant pesto....tasted fresh and given in abundance. I am so tired of restaurants who splash a little pesto on the pasta to give it a green color. Not so here! Great service, friendly smiles too! Worry not about the minor inconvenience of no debit or credit cards (cash/checks only)...the food is well worth it! I love this place and it will be a must-stop every time I am on vacation near here!
pizza on paradise: Wow just finished my favorite walk up Zion canyon, ate a fresh meal on the patio, the best *****
