User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIn the middle of nowhere is a fantastic restaurant that does American food to perfection. Whether their smoked trout "appetizer" that can serve as a complete meal, or their T-bone steak cooked with chilies, or their homemade soups -- this little place on Escalante's main drag is guaranteed to satisfy all but the most fastidious tastes. We went there every night we stayed in Escalante. All we wish is that they were open for lunch more than three days a week,

staff was very friendly and answered all the questions we had about the area.
