    An Ode to Mom's

    The little cafe along the road.
    Mom's.
    The sign was big the only cafe in town
    The best in all Utah they all proclaimed
    How could I turn it down?

    Rustic and homey the atmosphere was
    Mom sat at her desk presiding over it all
    Mom's.
    The waitress' smiled and took our order
    I felt warm and cozy and my mind started to wander

    It's like home, she said.
    It's not like mine, I thought
    A plate appeared before me
    It's better.
    It's Mom's.

    She asked if we wanted more.
    Of course she would, she's Mom.
    A full belly and a warm heart
    What more could one ask for?
    Oh yeah...
    Mom's.

    I stopped at Mom's while on vacation with my boyfriend who said they had the best ham and cheese omelets he's ever had. This quaint little cafe has a nice clean atmosphere and friendly fast service. While it wasn't the best food I've had at cafe's like this it is far from the worst. I'll certainly stop by again the next time I'm in Utah.
