Great Mexican Food!: Try the "Bandido." Good atmosphere and good food. Very reasonable.
will always have a place in my heart and appetite: i worked there after i ate there cuz i loved the food. i only worked there a year before i moved back to houston texas. Houston texas has some great mexican restaurants , but Joe Vera's is the best. Whenever i visit i always eat there, and when friends and family go up there i have them bring me back salsa and chips, and sometimes food if they are gonna have time to pick it up before their flight.
Manuel is the best mexican food cook ever!! GET THE FLAN IT IS HOMEMADE GREATNESS!!!! everything there is great
Mike from houston texas
much love to those who know me and those who don't
The best Mexican Food I've ever tasted!: I had a really great experience at Joe Veras Mexican restaurant. I found the restaurant in in a renovated 3 story plaza on Center Street in Provo, Utah.
First, My family was greeted by the owner, who was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The wait staff is great too, but the food is to die for. It's the best I've had in 20 years of "Mexican food" dining. It's even better than the restaurants I used to frequent in Southern California.
I learned from the owner that her cooks, who have been loyal to her restaurant for many years, are from El Salvador. They do a wonderful job.
I recommend this restaurant above all others. By the way, the prices are very reasonable, and they also serve alcoholic beverages.
