    An oasis in the desert! Very, very good restaurant with great salad bar, large-portion dinners, and great down-home service. Most all dinners were above $17-$18 and are spendy, but you get your money's worth. Presently, only open Fri/Sat due to economic downturn, but they're not closing. Rustic environment and friendly management. Well worth the experience of a country setting. Great place to go considerating it's in a small town. It's hard to find and off the main road, but great for the hungry traveler!

    4/4/2009- Fantastic Dinner Buffet! We stumbled onto this Steakhouse by accident, we stopped at the Gas station for fuel and noticed the big sign on the log cabin bldg. "STEAKHOUSE" heading to Mt. Pleasant. We decided to go there for dinner on the way back, and boy are we glad we did... All you can eat prime rib, shrimp, crablegs, halibut, salmon, etc. all for $30.00 per person. That's wonderful! We live in Salt Lake City, and plan to drive the 1-1/2 hours again in May for the Fri/Sat first of the month buffet. See you there! We were also told they have a bar on the other side to hang out at for a while and you can walk from there to your hotel. :) Nice... Thanks and enjoy...

    excellent all around: For a small town, this is the best food. Everything from sandwhiches to seafood and steak is the best I have ever eaten. Be sure to check out their all you can eat seafood buffet the first Friday and Saturday night of each month. A great deal where you can eat all the lobster, fish, crab, etc. you can
