User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAfter I heard Aramark is management and Steve Dion was the assistant manager I refused service here. Can't comply with them with this man working there and helping to run the housekeeping department. Rooms were dirty

Only go if you have GREAT insurance:
I had both my two boys at St. Joe's. I had a wonderful experience with my first son - at which time I had BCBS. I got a private room, the nurses were soo helpful and kind, my husband got to sleep on his own little couch - it was great. With my second son, I had state insurance (Mercy Care) b/c my husband lost his job 2 wks before I was due. Same hopsital - HORRIBLE experience. I wasn't given a choice about rooms and got a shared room, the nurses hardly ever came by and my baby was even having problems! The nurses were completely rude to my husband and he even caught them backbiting about him in the hallway! As soon as my Dr. said I could go, I was out of there!
There should NOT be a double -standard based on your insurance. I was still the same person and should never have been treated like that. For baby #3, I am going elsewhere. -

St. Joe's is the best: I work in the Neuro ICU there and the morale and level of care there is amazing. Also my best friend was a patient on my floor and because of all the talented MDs and RNs that took care of him he is alive today.
