| About: | Rhythm Room was chosen as one of the Top Twenty Blues Venues in the USA by Blues Review Magazine , not to mention the countless times it has won Best Blues Club by local Phoenix periodicals. This musical hot spot features headline acts by such greats as Deke Dickerson and Bob Margolin. Legendary guitarist Guitar Shorty, the man who taught Jimmy Hendrix to play the guitar with his teeth, is a frequent performer. Additionally, top names in rock from Deerhoof to the Spinto Band make this their stop when in Phoenix. Pictures of Blues legends dot the walls, but the main attraction is the stage. Great seats everywhere, with tiny tables big enough for a couple of cocktails and a pack of smokes. Sunnyside Barbecue is served Friday and Saturday nights. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Rythm Room is definately the place to go if you love listening to great blues and really love dancing your heart out. The crowd is diverse, sophisticated and friendly. This is definately the coolest club in town!
