This was the best restaurant I have ever been to. The service was excellent; our party was warmly greeted by the host, and as we entered the establishment, we were welcomed again by the generous servers. Our waitress catered to all of our party's needs quickly and throughly-- and we had a party of eight. The food was amazing, however it was a little bland. The dessert cookie is to die for, and I would recommend it to anybody. The atmosphere is great. It had the feeling of a rustic, homey, Tuscan village. Fun swing music played through the speakers, and I personally did not think it was too loud. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody, whether it would be to an old, married couple, a large family, a group of friends, or newlyweds. This restaurant is the place to be if you are looking for good food, amazing service, and a fun environment all at the same time.
A feeding station: Too loud! Every time we've been there we've hade to ask for the music to be turned down. People tend to bring in ill-behaved children. The staff is too friendly. The pizza is good. The beef bistro salad is uneven. One time it was good. The other three times it the carmelized onions were acrid with overcooking and the whole affair was swimming in grease. The place is too cold. The clientel tend to be very fat.
We go every year!: We go to Phoenix every year to visit family and have made this an annual stop as well. My children love it as they get to play with pizza dough before their food arrives. We have had the pizza, pasta, salad and desserts. I can't say enough good things. The only draw back is that the wait is sometimes quite long.
