disappointed but I've never been to Greece: I've never been to Greece but my experience (Friday night) was a disappointment. The reviews were so great I was surprised that I did not like the food at all. We ordered the calamari (ok), the lamb that is only served on Fridays and Saturdays (very disappointing), and hummus with pita (unforgiveably small considering how little it costs to make hummus). The lamb dish came with some overly lemoned potatoes and a thin slice of eggplant that was blah with 2 chunks of overcooked cheese on top. The staff was very nice, the atomsphere was extremely quiet, and I left wondering why no one was eating there if it was supposed to be so good. Beware - drinks are about $9 each. The desserts looked fancy but I couldn't bring myself to risk more disappointment. We went to the Gelato Spot instead, which was delicious. I would not go back to Greekfest based on poor value and disappointing taste. Our friends ordered a chicken dish and said it was good though. If you're accustomed to more americanized Greek food - stay away - this is not the place for you.

A night to remember: This restaurant is stunning. I don't know what it feels like to be IN Greece, but this restaurant feels like what I imagine it would feel like. The staff is attentive but not intrusive. The food is delicious and rich. I have no complaints.
