| About: | When a TV personality asked a local celebrity chef where she could find funky and fiery Southwestern food, he didn't hesitate. "Los Dos Molinos," the chef replied. Chef and Owner Victoria Chavez's spicy New Mexican cuisine is sought after by diners. Zagat's Survey has listed it as one of the top restaurants in Phoenix. The restaurant decor is an authentic hacienda style. You'll have plenty of time to browse the gift shop if you show up on a weekend night. |

We had a party of about 10 people on 9/12 at Los Dos Molinos.
The service was extremely very poor. Initially the waiter disregarded the party except if asked to supply something. Once the food was served, the waiter avoided any contact and neither checked on his customers nor provided any refills.
The store owner was neither flexible in terms of payments (split bill) nor willing to reduce the mandatory gratuity.
In the light of this blatant disregard for customers and the mediocre food, the best recommendation is to avoid this restaurant.
This place is awesome, if you like it HOT! The margaritas are also to die for! Service is quick and friendly.
I was not impressed. They bring you a tiny bowl of chips. If you want a refill, they charge you. If you want a 3rd refill of your drink, they charge you. For a cheese enchilada it's $4.95 and it's not a very good enchilada. Their tacos are in a shell that reminds me of the shells you buy in the box at the grocery store and I had a hard time finding the meat in my taco. Once I did find it the meat was pretty good. I don't recommend this place. Phoenix has great mexican food restaurants. This isn't one of them.
