Never had koorma with lemon grass! I dont like lemon grass - thats why I eat Indian. When before did you have peas and nuts in pilau rice? Havent had a indina meal for over a year and was looking forward to it - but sadly dissapointed.

The food here is exquisite! I use to live in Chandler, but moved to Tucson for school, but I will still come up to Phoenix just for the indian food at Star of India. I have tried many indian restaurants in Tucson, as well as New York and none of the food even compares to the dishes served at Star of India. The service is wonderful and the dishes are perfection. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing indian cuisine.

It sucks, Worst food ever I ate so far. We went for dinner and ordered tandoori chicken. They fried leftover chicken from lunch( God knows if it leftover from lunch that day or previous days) and served us. There are hardly any customers eating there when we went. That explains the quality of their food.

One of the places to avoid dining out,

Reviewer only makes self-serving criticism and may have his own restaurant. Star of India food is excellent (although the service can be slow at times).
