Great food & really GREAT service too! What a fun date night it was at Pappadeaux! I've driven by the restaurant for years & finally tried it! We'll go back for sure!
I ate at Pappadeaux's for the first time in the late 80's when I moved to Dallas. From that point I was hooked. I have also eaten at the one in Atlanta and the one here in Phoenix. Even though they are hundred's of miles apart the food is consistent and always top notch. Take my word for it you will love it!!
Best Cajun food west of the Mississippi! For those of you who have eaten true creole know that there are very few acceptable resteraunts that hit the mark. The only thing you can say about Pappadeaux's is BULLSEYE!
Short of "the Court of Two Sisters" down in the French Quarter, Pappadeaux's is my favorite resteraunt in the continental United States. The wait staff is spectacular, the ambiance is fabulous, and the food...oh dear God the food is what dreams are made of.
In order to truly edify the menu, it would take days to review. Nothing on this menu is bad. The crawfish etouffe is spectacular. For those of you who have never tried it, the alligator is perfect (taste like crocodile). A must try is the Blackened Alexander, but go off the menu and have them make it with the Mahi. If you are anything like me, you will rate it one of the best fish plates in the country. This makes Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen #1 on my TOP 10 Phoenix restaurants.
