User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe have been coming here when in the area since 2004 when some friends introduced us to it. Not your standard Mexican, their chili relleno is very different than its namesake but still quite nice.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI have had Mexican food all over, including Mexico. This place has a great atmosphere. That being said, the food isn't all that great. I'm suprised at all the people here saying how good it is. As far as "real" Mexican food goes...it's not all that. That's why they invented Tex-Mex food!

The food is excellent here and they have some items you can't find other places. The salmon enchiladas with avocado sauce is to die for. Salsa and chips are always very good. There is both a main restaurant and a scaled-down take out place, where you can also eat in. The menu is less extensive in the take out building, but still plenty of options. Service in the main restaurant has always been good. The take out restaurant can get a little slow, due to being so busy. My main complaint is that prices seem a little high in the main restaurant. There are many cheaper places with food almost as good. Always busy and only open 5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. Closes quite early in the evening. I believe 9 p.m. is the latest they stay open. Everything seems top notch, but their beans are ordinary. Only a few places make beans from scratch and I don't think they do here.
Can be hard to find parking when it's really busy, even though they do have a lot of parking. Atmosphere and decor is very nice.
