I'm a traveling health care worker who lives out of my RV. I had three doggies (two smaller dogs and one medium). I was there in the summer so the park was mostly empty. I absolutely LOVED this park. I've stayed long-term in two other parks (both in California) and by far this was the cleanest and nicest park I've been in overall.
I loved that there were big swimming pools and spas. I loved that the bathrooms were always clean and very modern. I loved the staff and the other park members that I got to know. They offer some really nice extras if you're considering living there more than a month out of the year and perhaps you're retired. There are plenty of social activities available from simple card playing routines to organized classes.
I loved that I could have my doggies there with me and I never got any grief about it. In fact, one day while I was at work...a power pole was munched by a driver outside the park and it caused the power to go off in our part of the park. My neighbors called the front office to make sure they could call me if the power stayed off too long (they knew my pups were in there). In the summer in AZ that really matters!
I would suggest a golf cart or scooter type set up if you don't like to walk. But a grocery store is barely 4 blocks away. And convenience stores are near by. It's a nice area (Mesa)to road bike! If we'd needed to park two cars it would have been possible right at my site.
Give Mesa Spirit RV a try! Tell them Robin sent you!
