This is the best place to do business in the Valley. The proprietor maintains the highest standards of integrity; you will ALWAYS get a fair deal here.
I have been buying and selling coins gold and silver with them for over seven years now. they are GREAT people to deal with. Best in the valley, if you want a fair deal... deal with Coin gallery.
This shop demands to see identification and records your name, address, drivers license number, etc. on its invoices even for cash purchases WELL below the $10,000 threshold (wherein it would be required by law). Besides being a drug dealer and/or money launder, there is a very good reason why customers may not want their name and address on record - namely, we don't know who may gain access to this information and decide to pay us a visit looking for gold and silver bullion coins, which if stolen are untraceable and easily liquidated for cash worldwide. Avoid this shop if at all possible; if you must do business with these people, be VERY cautious.

Under the Patriot Act, every coin, bullion, or jewelry business doing over $50,000 year in business is deemed a financial institution, operating under the same regs as banks and credit unions. One part of that is the Know Your Customer regulations, which require just that - knowing who your customers are when cash transactions exceed $3,000 per. It's new (as of 1/1/2007), sometimes annoying, but it is the law and noncompliance fines start at $250,000. My name is Richard Smith, president and designated compliance officer for the Coin Gallery, and I approved this message.
