I have been to Vito's several times due to my husband likes the pizza there. Well, being an Italian from the inner city of Chicago and being exposed to good Italian Restaraunts and home cooking, thumbs down to Vito's. The prices are outrageous and what you get on the plate is a big disappointment, along with their usiual bad service. You'd think that they'd have a salad, bread, and a scoop of ice cream along with the dinner since Vito's charges $15 per plate. I can feed 3 people for 3 days on that price and my cooking is better. I had ordered the eggplant parmsian and it was like shoe leather. The chef needs to cook the eggplant first. As far as the lasagna, this is another dish I do better at home. Get the picture. This restaurant is a waste of time. Wildflower Bread Company has better pasta. It is unique and less expensive.
We have been looking for a good pizza in AZ and have finally found one! We enjoyed our pizza and also the Meat Calzoni. Recommened you give Vito's a try.
