Larada's Army Surplus CLOSED PERMANETLY January 2009.
Prior to its closing it was sold by the original owners of 38 years in 2006. The Manager of Larada's for the last 20 years under the original ownership is also the daughter of the owners. In 2005 she left her parents to open and run Freedom Military Surplus in Mesa just 4 miles east of Larada's on Main Street.
If you were use to the original Larada's store, it's products and excellent service then you will love Freedom Military Surplus. Many of Larada's customers flocked to Freedom before Larada's ever even closed it's doors. Feel free to stop on in or give us a call for all your outdoor needs.

Laradas Army Surplus is deffenitly not the same since the original owners of thirty six years sold the place. The selection is not the same. the new hired help knows nothing about the army surplus business. The new owners have turned it into a costume shop. Its very sad to see. Im actually very disgusted about the way the new owners have changed the place. I found a great surplus store just down the road on Main & Gilbert. It is called Freedom Military. its exactly like the old Laradas. You will be very impressed if you take a look.
