Our friend's took us here after finding that another restaurant had closed over the summer. Decent Mexican and OK service, but nothing special.
Crappy service. I don't know if anyone understands what waitresses are supposed to do, but they don't make you wait 10 minutes to get a menu after they seat you. They don't grab the top rim of your cup to refill it. Gross!! And they don't handle money, then food right after. Not to mention it wasn't friendly, the food was over priced for what you get. And the sauce tasted canned, the enchiladas were tiny, and BEANS???? with your chips. Please season your food or atleast go to the texas mexican border to see how it's really done. This was very americanized food.
Great value: Great homemade food, good service.

Obviously you know that even Taco Bell is better than Manuel's. Congrats! But in all seriousness, you must not eat out around town much. You can get really good food for lunch under 6.50. There is a right way to do mexican food, and then there is the Manuel's way. Bland and with poor service. Last time I checked, handling money and then going straight to a person's glass or plate, isn't exactly sanitary. I can name you tons of great places to eat for under 6.50 if you would like. It's not just in Texas, which for some reason you seem to hate (must be because you know how AWESOME it is), but also all along the highways and biways leading into this town. I'm not in anyway talking bad about Casa Grande, so you shouldn't let your jealousy show. I just think people who consider the food at Manuel's Cafe, GOOD, must not have eaten anywhere else in this entire town. Margarita's and marriachi's don't influence your food taste, just your wallet. Try a real place out for once and let your eyes be opened. Heck, if you find yourself on the border eat across and see how different real Mexican food is. Major difference, IT HAS FLAVOR! I just won't be subjected to retirement home food voluntarily and hope to help others out in their quest for a satisfying lunch or dinner. So enjoy your SOYLENT GREEN and I'll enjoy the real food.
I love the food service is great all the staff is very friendly and make you feel like family as soon As I walk in the door they great my family by name good comes oout fast and perfect I have never had bad service... The margarita's are the bomb best ones in town you want good mexican food ( not that texmix crap) manual is the place
