User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe moved to Tucson from NJ 10 years ago. We love everything about Arizona...except that it's impossible to find good, thin crust, east coast, NY/NJ style pizza. Most AZ pizza is awful, including all we've had in Tucson (although Brooklyn Pizza by UofA isn't terribe, but still it's not great). About 5 years ago, someone mentioned A&M as having great NY style pizza and that they stopped there anytime they were passing through Florence on the back road to Phoenix. Once we tried it, we were spoiled. They have GREAT NY style pizza, wonderful hot sandwiches on fresh baked bread (Philly cheese steak and Chicken Parm are two of our favorites). I believe the owners are transplants from Brooklyn. Strongly recommend the pepperoni pie, and our son who visited us from Seattle thought their white pizza also was spectacular. If you live in Arizona, and come from the east, we can't recommend this place highly enough. GREAT PIZZA!

I work in Florence AZ. I ordered the cheeseburger sub. It was grose. The hamburger meat is the same meat that the prisoners get. Ive eaten the prisoners hamburgers so trust me its the same. I cant believe that someone who calls themselves authentic uses prison meat and charge 7 dollars for it. Just not right.

Some people would go so far out of their way to make ridiculous comments when in reality they just too cheap.... Stick with your prison food cheap ass. A&M has great food, great quality, and I would pay a hundred bucks jus for one pizza, it's that good! -

This place is a local favorite. The pizza is great - the pasta is pretty good. It is great for a large group as there is plenty of seating. Just as an FYI the sausage is not the typical so if you have kids you may want to skip it. It is owned by a family in the area.
