Just amazing. I am in the Army and deployed for a year. Promised my family when I got back we would do something special. From the moment we arrived all of the hotel people from reservations, the front desk (Courtney) to the grounds keepers all treated us so special. Our room was wonderful with a fireplace and private hot tub on our patio and to make it even better we were given an adjoining room for a special rate. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. After spending a day exploring the Superstition Mountains coming back and relaxing at the pool with drinks was just heaven. It was so quiet, spacious and relaxing. We could not have found a better place and can’t wait till we have time off again so we can return. SFC Haskins
Spacious rooms and many amenities are key to resorts getting recurring guests. The Gold Canyon Golf Resort is on such place that has three separate type rooms, two of which come with out door hot tubs. The vacation villa is the only room with a kitchenette and laundry facilities like I have seen elsewhere. The smaller rooms are not so well decked out and do sport a pair of queen sized beds. The Vacation Villa also has in room DVD players like elsewhere while the smaller rooms only sported basic cable. In my opinion they could make a perfect rating with a little modification. The fact it has a golf course right there is a bit of a perk but then again it is a golf resort.
