I had been there many times before, over the last 12 years. The food and service was always above-board. We brought a friend from out of town this past Thanksgiving Day, 2008, thinking that he would be thoroughly impressed with the experience. Unfortunately, just about everything was disastrous! The "oven baked turkey" was far from it. More like a Jennie-O loaf, probably microwaved! And ditto for what used to be excellent spiral baked ham. I was told there would be pumpkin pie for desert....we got little "pumpkin" cake squares like they might serve in a cafeteria! We used to get our drinks,(Iced tea, sodas, milk, etc), included. Now we had to pay $1.00 for each tiny glass of milk, in cash! To top things off, our server was seldom seen and very forgetful. We could have left 40 mins sooner if she would have done her job just halfheartedly! Our prolonged humiliation lasted almost 2 1/2 hours. I will NEVER go there again. We even contacted the owner thinking he should know about our experience (the website doesn't work, by the way), He was very defensive and said that we must be mistaken! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE.

The quality or lack of quality of the food has no correlation to the owner's being wonderful or not. Food is food and when it's bad, it's horribly bad and this restaurant serves slop not food. It's very expensive and there is no food quality period. I was totally embarassed to bring an out of town guest here for dinner. I do not recommend this poor excuse for a restaurant to anyone. If the restaurant cooked or heated up the food and threw it to the pigs in the back (if they had any) they would probably pass it right up. Bad economy or not, this place is a few steps below the pits. Please take my advice and the advice of my friend, "DON'T EVER EAT HERE.... EVER!" BEWARE!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they took the plates back to the kitchen and cleaned off the slop and re-served the same slop again to new unknowing and unfortunate guests. It's all of the same slop to me. Plus the server we had had an attitude from hell and I hope she didn't feel she desrved much of a tip. She deserves to work in a dump like that.
