Tonight my father and I traveled to Scottsdale from Tucson for my Aunts surprise birthday! I have to say we had the worst service imaginable! I have been a server for over 8 yrs at big establishments and have had to handle several tables by myself with more than 20 ppl at a table! There was one server and one bartender and everyone went with the $1.00 tacos! Not brain science right! Everytime we would call the server over to ask for drinks or salsa ( Which when we ordered I specifically told her we needed lots) she held her finger up and would cut ppl off and say I will be right back! Never happened! My Aunt and Uncle sat there for over and hour and was never even asked if they needed drinks or what they wanted to order.. So the whole time which was three hrs they went without! I have handle the amount of tables and ppl before and it is not difficult.. Maybe a lil overwelming but we were eating tacos not a four course meal. We were not ever givin a refill on our drinks and was not checked up on once! I asked her if I could get a chicken breast and was told No! That is the lunch special.. I explained I was on a diet and she said "Normally I might have been able to get you one.. But since we are busy he probably wont make it!" So I said then I guess I wont eat!" And she didn't even try! She rather see me starve then ask.. I sat there 3 hrs and had to leave to eat! My family was disgusted with her attitude and when we would ask for something because we still needed things she would shake her head on the way back to the kitchen as if how dare we! Well if you would have checked in on us we would have never had to ask you! I pray this woman treats her family better than she did her customers because I would have rather ate at a fast food joint then eat here! And her gratuity she added on was not deserved!
