We bought a Chevy Cobalt there less than a year ago. Got the best price and they offered great service. I wasnt so thrilled when I took it in for the first oil change and wax. The wax job was way overpriced and didnt even last
This was the worst car-buying experience of my life. After driving five hours from Southern California to this place and waiting another six hours before any real movement on a deal, one of the financial guys writes up all the paperwork, has me sign everything and lets me walk away with the vehicle before any financing is even secured. Less than a week later I get a call from this clown saying the bank is going to need an additional $7,000, on top of what I already paid for my down payment, for my trade-in to make the deal complete. Keep in mind too, that I understood my car was upside down, but they were going to give me $5,000 for my car (I owe about $13,000), they were going to offer an additional $4,000 in cash-back rebates and I was putting down another $2,000, yet they still needed an additional $7,000? Livid, I just let the guy have it and let them know how much B.S. this was. After a week of trying get my car back (and I was in the process of moving when all this went down) the dealer charges my bank account for the down payment we had originally agreed on. They still charge me even after the deal fell through. I tell them that I've since closed that bank account (because of my move) if they can just send me a check, since it was a debit card that I used, not a credit card. And of course they say they can't. After another week of dealing with this, I finally get my money back. It's no wonder the auto industry is as screwed up as it is with clowns like this on the front lines.
