User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI decided to try this restaurant yesterday and I was sorry I did. I usually go to the L & B Inn down the road. If restaurants used to be halfway decent, the poor economy has tampered tremendously with their quality. I odered the Chicken Asado (recommended by the server) and it was greasy as hell. The rice was way to wet and just scooped on to the plate with an ice cream scoop. The pico de gallo was about a week old. There was a washed out look to it. The server raved how their food was so much better than the L & B Inn's food. She needs to open her mouth and insert her serving tray. I was ignored several times when when my iced tea was empty. On the way out, while I was paying, the server asked me how my meal was and I said it was just okay and she wanted to argue with me that is was great. No point in arguing here you "Smart Ass.). For the price I paid for mostly grilled peppers. That was some grilled chicken.... NOT! It was tiny pieces of chicken breast that must have fell out of a package, some oil added to it and grilled.
You don't have my vote. I will not go back to either Mexican restaurant in Florence. The L & B Inn and Old Pueblo. They should call it "El Pueblo Cerrado." "The Old Closed Town."
My bill with a cheap ass tip (reflected poor service and lack of food quality) came to $15.15, now that was a total rip off. I could not imagine this lunch/dinner was worth no more than $7.00
Never ever again. The more I eat out, the more I want to stay home and cook, the hell with the convenience of not cooking myself. I can cook circles around these fools and so I will. One big thing about cooking at home, I know what's going into my food. Oh, I forgot, the salsa was so pumped up with sodium, I had really swollen ankles (edema) before I left. I was so happy to leave this the dump.
Please don't waste your hard earned money, skip this place and hopefully it closes. Restaurants or businesses like this, need to shut down.
