Still good, but not as good as they used to be.: I have been going to this restaurant on a regular basis for quite a while now and their food and service have always been wonderful. However, they have recently had some turnover in the staff and the service has definitely suffered with the exception of one very sweet Iranian girl who is just fantastic.
My main complaint is that the food is just not as good as it used to be. I used to rave about this restaurant to anyone who would listen, now I look for other places to go. It seems like everything is overcooked or undercooked or doesn't have the right flavoring anymore.
The owners are very nice and will make you feel like family if you go there often. Their grocery is very well stocked and has so many things you can't find anywhere else. They will make you anything you want to go, and also have an extremely good selection of feta cheese and olives. The belly dancers add a lot of entertainment on the weekends, making it a very lively place to go. If you want a quiet romantic dinner, go during the week or later at night on Fridays and Saturdays. Don't forget to try the lemonade with rosewater or orange blossom in it, there's nothing like it. They also have a lunch buffet with a lot of variety that is very cheap. The food just leaves a lot to be desired lately, I hope they can turn it around.
