Unfortunately, I am mainly writing this review regarding the Mystic tanning system at this location, so...be forewarned.
PROS: I am sure the beds are fine. I have never tanned in a bed, but they seem to have great pricing. Hell, I even got to use the MysticTan booth 8 times a month for a mere 60 bucks, which in my native Laguna Beach, CA and surrounding areas is laughable and unheard of, meaning it's AMAZING, because MT is usually about 30 bucks a pop. The proximity to ASU is pretty good, too.
NEUTRAL: I feel indifferent to the customer service; they weren't amazing, nor were they cruel, so I'm fine.
CONS: A LOT. For starters, all of the Mystic products they sell are outdated pieces of crap. But even more concerning is the booth itself, which is outdated beyond belief. The smell is horrible, the result is horrible, and unless you want to look like a tangerine lizard for at LEAST 3 days, AVOID! I'm serious, this is probably a 1st or 2nd generation booth, so you'll thank me for avoiding it. They need to update and get a MyMyst booth like a couple of their other locations have (16th St. in Phoenix, and another location in Mesa).
Overall...if you're looking for a good spray tan...STAY AWAY! I five it the lowest rating I can.
Don't go here for spray tanning!! It's terrible and I will never go back. First off it left me orange!! Second it totally looks like it's fake and it doesn't even spray you everywhere. My face turned out darker than anything, it didn't spray my neck and left my hands splotchy. And even the next day my hands were still orange even after scrubbing and washing my hands like 5 times afterwards. Don't go there and waste your money.
P.S. if you have any good ways of getting rid of a bad spray tan please let me know, thanks!
Great choice of beds, and one of the only Tanning places near by ASU that have a spray tan. I hate going here though, their customer service is beyond horrible... and sometime feel obliged to drive all the way to Scottsdale because of it. A bunch of college girls work the place, and obviously don't really care about anything but free tanning. They're rude and disrespectful.
On the plus side, they do take Sun Dollars
