We have been seeing Dr. Bauer for many years. I have two hearing impaired daughters and the nurse signs!!!!!!!!!! This man cares and listens to you. After many Dr.'s thought the years Dr. Bauer your the best!!Thanks for the 20 years of caring for my family!!

I'm not really sure how there are so many great reviews for Dr. Bauer. I saw him for the first time a couple of months ago and I explained my medical problems to him and he basically said "what do you want me to do about it?". Also, when I told him that I felt really tired all the time, he said "well, lots of women feelt tired" Kind of insulting if you ask me and not really what I would consider a "medical opinion", more like a personal opinion. Also, he didn't seem a bit concerned about any of the health questions I had and even when I went back a week after my 1st appointment because I felt even worse after starting to take the prescribed medications he gave me, he still didn't really seem too concerned about anything. I felt like my entire body was completely out of whack, but that didn't seem to phase him at all. I also think it's important to note that when he told me that my blood pressure was sky high for someone my age, and I asked what could cause that, he said that he had no idea what causes high blood pressure! Really? That's interesting because Google was able to give me that answer, yet somehow my "doctor" had no idea. And, basically, anything I had questions about that wasn't some kind of normal health problem, he had no clue about, and didn't even try to give any sort of potential causes, he just said that he had no idea. Great, so if my doctor has no idea, then who does?

Of course, I should have realized that there may be something weird about the place when it looked like the whole office was decorated as if it was straight out of the 80's with all of the pastel colors, not to mention all of the plaques with bible verses everywhere. They don't even have computers where they keep track of appointments, they just have a huge appointment book where they write down all of the appointments in as if it was a hair salon or something.

So, I guess the other people here are satisfied with having a completely clueless doctor with a huge lack of knowlege, but I expect a little bit more from my doctor. I would recommend that if you are considering going to see Dr. Bauer, that you consider looking elsewhere.

Dr. Bauer always tells me "if you were my daughter this is what I would recommend". I have been going to Dr. B for 15 years. He explains what is wrong and why and gives all the options for treatment so you feel good about what he recommends. I love Dr. Bauer and I wish all Doctors treated their patients this way, we'd all be heathier and happier.
