| About: | A few things distinguish this new "Amerasian Bistro" from other area sushi bars: It's one of the few who offer Bento (traditional Japanese boxed meals). The bistro serves edemame, boiled soybean pods, as a kind of between-courses snack. And, with a zen-like minimalist decor, this place affords diners a tranquil setting in which to experience a meal. Barely there, which is what creates such a stunning effect. Light wood floors and tabletops, leggy chairs, tiny spotlights suspended over the tables and a few well-chosen pieces of art make for a contemporary Asian atmosphere. Made-to-order sushi combinations, tempura platters, shabu shabu, noodles and bento boxes. |
