I agree with alot of what other reviews are saying. I can't really complain about the deal I got on a new murano, but I played hard ball. Plus it was the end of their fiscal year and they neaded to move cars. I will say I would not have even bought the car had the salesman not lied to me, I asked him if the car took regular gas and he said yes absolutely then after I get home and I'm going through the manual it says it takes only premium. Thats a huge deal with todays gas prices. In that price range I could have bought alot of other cars with better gas mileage. But I guess it's my own fault for not checking before I purchased. They also lied about the maintance warranty I purchased. The guy said only Nissan can work on my car or Nissan would void the warranty, so I got talked into a 800.00 package that basically just covers oil changes and tire rotations. My car also did not come with a window sticker, they said they would order one for me, but after 2 months I just went straight to Nissan USA and they sent one in a week. I got the sticker and noticed it was missing a accessory, so I called and they did say they would order it. I will be patient and if it doesn't come in two weeks, I'll be back to rate them lower. I have decided to NOT take my car there for service based on these reviews. I'm going to try Riverview, they have been so nice in the parts department, so I'll give them a try. So basically I can't complain too much because like I said they did give me a great deal, just alittle shady in other areas.
Very poor customer service. They do work on your vehicle that has not been approved. They do not back up the work they do.
The transmission on a 2005 exterra was serviced by them in February of 2008. Now 15000 miles later we noticed a vibration now, March 2009 and took it to the service department. It is a locked transmission so only Nissan can work on it. They informed us that a whole new transmission was needed, $4000.00. They stated on a service contract that there was no fluid in the transmission, but didn't find any leak. An average person would question if the original service was done properly. We were treated very rudely by the service manaager and he said pay it our they keep the car. Stay away from Power Nissan in Tempe. We also contacted Nissan corporate and were told that they go by what the service department says so there is no recourse from that area. Honest car mechanics have always been a rarity, with this incident we have found a place that honesty is NOT part of the service but rather cover your ###.
Well when I was looking for a truck I stumbled among this place on the internet while I was looking at used Titans, as time went they kept calling me and calls have been going on for over a month now, they just don't know when to give up, don't give these guys your phone number
