Just purchased a Dodge SUV about a week ago, and this dealer has NO idea how to treat a customer... especially in these tough times. They should be making every effort to get and keep business. With this said, my buying experience there was the worst I have ever had and will never be buying at that place, much less any Dodge ever again... just based on what I went through with them. Let's start.. 1)I sat for four hours while my "loan paperwork was being finalized", 2)when I left the dealer with my new car (well, used with about 8000 miles), the gas tank was on empty so I had to beg them to give me at least half a tank, 3) driving it home, the warning light came on saying it needed an oil change..doesn't the dealer do some sort of maintenance / conditioning which MIGHT include an oil change?, and last 4)when I was doing the financing, I specifically asked Tempe Dodge to go through my credit union, and it was approved when the paperwork was FINALLY finalized. Lo and behold, a bank that I have never done business with called me to finalize the loan. What the??? Not only did the dealer send my loan to a bank I never heard of and not honor my request for my credit union which I asked for and told I was going to get, it was for the exact APR and terms (what's the difference then?). So now I am going through the hassle to get my loan refinanced with MY credit union. With this all said, Tempe Dodge will try and cut as many corners as they can, and not treat their customers with courtesy and professionalism. They just want to get rid of their inventory that is building up, I guess. Do yourself a favor, if you must buy a car, don't get a Dodge, and if you MUST get a Dodge, do NOT go to Tempe Dodge.
