Two paper thin slices of roast beef in a huge bread roll. Might just have well stopped by a grocery store and bought a small loaf bread. You can bet I won't ever return.
Just a wild guess but I bet the five star review was written by someone involved with the business.
Our family did not enjoy the atmosphere and the food was average.
Saguaro Grille in Carefree is a friendly neighborhood restaurant with a sidewalk cafe plus a Southwestern-style dining room. The food is delicious and the portions are huge! The restaurant is family-owned and operated, so it's got that family-friendly feel.
Our favorites for breakfast are the Saguaro Sampler and the Buckwheat Pancakes. For lunch we love the Mushroom Swiss Burger and the Texas Burger. The soups, salads, subs and sandwiches are very good, too. For dinner, we like the Cherry Blossom Ribs, Pulled Pork Platter, Catfish, Fajitas and Quesadillas.
You can also order beer, wine or mixed drinks.
The prices are fair, the service is friendly, and we had a good time. You should try Saguaro Grille. There's a lot to choose from on the menu. We hope you like it, too.
