| About: | At the far north end of the Valley, this enchanting Mexican cafe has the true look and feel of a south-of-the-border hacienda. Choose from a table in the festively decorated dining room or in the lush, mission-style garden courtyard. The kitchen here goes beyond "gringo" Sonoran and offers unique combinations and authentic sauces (mole, pipian and ranchero) to complement the dishes. At an average of USD12 per entree, this is a treat for the palate and the purse. |

Changed menu. Less choices on menue. Old favorites gone. Wait is artificial and patrons are directed to bar until seating is available while dozens of clean tables remain empty. Decreased servings and increased price. Used to get chips and salsa included, now extra. Used to be our favorite place. Too much of a tourist trap now. Over crowded and over rated.
They have cut their menu so much it's not worth the trip anymore.
This place used to be good few years ago. We recently went there. Their menu has changed; they have cut down a lot out of their menu. The food is expensive for a Mexican food. They also charge for extra chips and salsa. You would pay for ambient (pond, ducks etc). They also create lines artificially to sell drink. I no longer recommend this restaurant any more. It used be a good place but not anymore. .
