| About: | More redneck than red wine, this working-class watering hole has been here since 1934. It's the only bar in Tucson that opens at 6a and, believe it or not, that's because they really get customers at that hour. Home of the "Happy Minute," in the evenings, everybody at The Buffet gets another of whatever they're drinking, on the house. Hot dogs are about as haute cuisine as it gets here. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best bar in the world. The only place to see normal people, frat boys and their sisters, transients, old people smoking with oxygen tanks attached. You can run into any type of person at the Buffet, and every one of them is just relaxing, drinking and having a good time. The jukebox moves from Big Band to Hard Rock, Rap, Country and Western to Disco. A must see spot in Tucson. More friendly people and bartenders you will never meet.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsmmm hotdogs: Seriously the one nice thing that is said about la buffet is the hotdogs. I'm not sure but i think its the only food they serve there. its wonderful. Just remember the *hot dogs* are the one *nice* thing about this place. The one time i was drunk enough to go into the buffet i left and saw a man across the street in his doorway naked. AT-MO-SPHERE!!!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsOne of the best dives there is: This place has dollar hotdogs bigger than your head- well some people's heads. ;-) The people watching couldn't be better, as this is where 4th Ave vagrants go when they get a dollar.
