We've heard so much about this place that we had to try it ourselves. One word "Enchanting!" We had the most pleasant and delightful experience. Our breakfast was perfect! The service friendly and curtious. We were impressed with how clean everything was. Don't forget the fresh cut flowers..... We will be back with family and friends.
Extremely poor service: We recently visited The Randall House on the weekend. The place seemed to be run by teenagers, who took their own sweet time to wait on us. The people next to us were so hungry, they asked for bread and butter while they waited!! We had to wait an HOUR for our food. When we asked for bread and butter so we wouldn't pass out, we had to wait 20 minutes for that. Then we overheard the teenagers in the kitchen making fun of us because we were so hungry. Uh, newsflash geniuses: If you're going to talk about the cutomers, at least wait UNTIL they leave. Then our server finally apologized for the wait---this of course was because she wanted a tip. The food was good, but we were so hungry that a rice cake would've been good too. I also noticed that the silverware, which was real silver, tasted like TARNEX. Like they polished it, but didn't wash it off after. Yuck. The bathroom was broken---we asked to use it--one teenybopper said it was broken, then another walked up and said it wasn't. I don't know if they were all sisters or what, but the owner should fire the lot of them. We were really insulted. Randall House, here's a tip for YOU: don't hire bratty teenagers. Bad choice. The funniest part was when we asked what kind of dessert they had--the kid disappeared for 10 minutes, then read them off to us on a piece of paper--SHE WROTE IT DOWN BY HAND when there was a menu she could've just handed to us. Too funny.
I recommend this place if you're NOT hungry and love being insulted by the staff.
Great food and awesome scenery: The restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Pine in a rustic old house. Great Food, I can't wait to go back...
