A wannabe brewpub in a MALL? Give me a break. I've been to Prescott Brewing and it's nice. Hard to believe it's owned by the same folks.
If you're new to Tucson, my recommendation is to search out Nimbus, Barrio Brewing, and Barrio Brewing's parent company by the UA, Gentle Ben's. For me, Nimbus ranks #1.
My first visit here 5 years or so ago left we with warm feelings; I must have learned a lot in that time. Pass on this place.
OK, if you like a yuppified, somewhat sanitized place to sip beer and eat, this is for you. I prefer a dark and musty brewpub, such as Nimbus or Barrio Brewing. The food is so-so and the beer's OK. This is by Foothills Mall and gets a lot of mall customers. It lacks true brewpub atmosphere. Compare it to, say, TGI Friday's or some place like that.
Overall, it's not BAD, it's just, well, boring. (I've been to the "parent" Prescott Brewing Co. up in Prescott and it's the same thing. OK, but kind of bland.) If you are picky about cleanliness and don't like a down and dirty brewpub, then you'll probably like this. I prefer the dark, musty holes-in-the-wall type of brewpubs.
