What in the hell happened to this place, I don't know. Ten years ago, I would have driven 50 miles out of the way to eat here. But, now, I wouldn't eat here if I was on foot and standing at the front door. The service is lousy. The food is greasy and even looks dangerous. The booze is all watered down. I've never been to a bar where I could drink five drinks, and walk out just as sober as I walked in.

I've been to this restaurant twice since we bought our cabin here in Heber-Overgaard... My first visit was a nightmare, since I used my debit card to pay, my card was charged TWICE.....I tried contacting the owner and it took almost two weeks to get them to reverse the second charge, and this is after numerous calls....Funny thing is, no apologies from the owner, and somehow acted as if it was my fault that they made the error..... After a year, I decided to give them another try and this time I decided to bring cash....I ordered their Friday special "all you can eat fish"....I aked the waitress if I can substitute French Fries instead of the disgusting boiled potato that came with it.....She said substitution is not allowed on special.....Until two other "regular" caucasian customer sat next to me and order the same special and got French Fries instead of the boiled potatoes....Since discrimination does not bother me much, I decided to ignore it..... My order showed up, and the first batch of fish was a little doughy, so i ate part of it and asked the waitress for another batch, since it is "all you can eat"...she brought in the second batch and as I took a bite, wholla, it was raw inside but the batter was crunchy.....I set that aside and took a bite on the second fish, and not only it was raw, but the batter shed unmixed flour.....so I showed it to the waitress, and she took it back to the kitchen, again, with NO APOLOGIES, and acted as if I was bothering her......Soon after that, one waitress came back with another batch of fish, and this time, it much like the first batch, but at least it was not raw......then a second waitress showed up and DUMPED two more fish on my plate WITHOUT me asking for it, and walked away as if she was irate......I had enough of it so I left.......Soon after I got home, my stomach turned upside down, and sat on the toilet all night.... How are these people staying in busineas?.....Well, up in Heber, you have not much choice because of limited restaurants up there, but BEWARE.......YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT......CASH, RIGHT COLOR OF SKIN, STRONG STOMACH, and most of all....PATIENCE

This place has really gone down hill. The service is slow and lousy. The drinks are watered down. The employees (I think they're all inbred or drunk) don't know the difference between "rare" and "well done" and will argue with you about it. The restaurant is greasy and the men's restroom reeks of urine. Other than that, if your on the brink of divorce, it's a great place to take the inlaws.
