We have eaten at El Molinito on Ina Rd off and on for years when out shopping. The food is consistently good and reasonable. The service is friendly and busy. The patio room is cute.

However, El Molinito needs to clean up their act! The bathrooms--well, just don't go in them. Total grunge. The whole restaurant needs refurbishing. From what I can see of the waiter's pick up area--its not clean. I would rank them higher because of past experiences, but have let off going because of the grubbiness in the last year. Where is the floor manager? Usually at the bar watching TV.

Recommendations : Owners would do well to use a secret shopper now and again. More involved management, cleaner premises, and for goodness sake: some outside benches for those waiting would be nice. The entrance area is awkward to negotiate because of everyone standing there. The human obstacle course is not welcoming when you come in.

This place is a definite "NO". Everything in the restaurant was cold. I ordered the Combination plate with 3 flautas and an enchilada. The flautas were very tiny and cooked too long, the enchilada's cheese wasn't even melted. The tortilla chips were cold, greasy and old. I left there feeling still hungry and very ripped off. Wouldn't recommend at all. Now the Molina restaurant is wonderful, don't know where the disconnect happened here.

I was visiting in Tucson and my uncle suggested El Molinito. I ordered the sample platter and was it delicious!! I also had a strawberry Margaritia; wonderful! The staff was very nice and helpful. If your in Tucson stop and eat here!
